Sports qualifications, coaching bursaries and coaches database.

We are committed to increasing the number of qualified coaches and officials in Brent, particularly those working with Brent-based sports clubs and other organisations.

 

We also support sports coaches and volunteers in attending workshops to increase their skills in areas such as committee responsibilities, first aid and working with people with disabilities.

Information on available courses can be found on the National Governing Body Websites or the Pro-Active London website.

 

Sportscoach UK has workshops for coaches.

Workshops for club committees are available on Running Sports' website.

  

Candidates who will be coaching, officiating or volunteering may be eligible for help with course fees for the Mayor's Sports Legacy Fund. Once you have found your course you can apply for a bursary by completing the applicaton form on the Sports Active website.
